Oscar Malaria Antigen ‘Pv/Pf’ card test is intended used for qualitative and differential detection of Pv (pLDH) and Pf (HRP-II) in human whole blood as in aid of rapid diagnosis of Malaria. It is based upon lateral flow immuno assay. Highly specific monoclonal antibodies specific to pLDH & HRP-II have been used for coating on nitro cellulose membrane and on colloidal gold conjugate in the test formulation to have better sensitivity and specificity for detection of Pv and Pf.
